EWV 0911-2009, Blue Raceback Tank

Started: September 11, 2009
Finished: September 13, 2009
Lately, I've been falling back on a easy patterns that I've worked before. Going back to the beginning of the year, I decided to pick up the Cropped Vest pattern (EWV 0209-2009 and EWV 0128-2009). This time, I changed up the decreases and made it a little longer. Instead of performing the decreases two stitches away, I pushed it out one more at 3 sts. As a result, it gave the vest a raceback look to it (which is why I'm calling it a tank instead of vest). All in all, I'm pretty happy it and plan on wearing it with light blue jeans and maybe the grey 3/4 sleeve length top under it.

EWV 0909-2009, Blanketed Blue Beret

Started: September 9, 2009
Finished: September 10, 2009
I pretty much made this up as I went along, but based it off of a blanket pattern from my pattern collection. I messed up the back a little bit because I hadn't yet gotten the hang of altering a pattern. It took me some time to figure out the pattern repeat, and then apply it to knitting in the round. As a result, I have a small patch of reverse stockinette in the back, at the beginning of the beret. I supposed I could have fixed it, but didn't. If I try to make another one (which is likely because it's way to use of extra yarn), I think I'll have a better grasp of applying the pattern to circular knitting in the beginning.
