EWV 0202-2009, Carnation Tee

The monotony of seed stitch (k1p1) in the round for 13 inches began to get me down, so I put some rubber stoppers on the ends of my needles for the body and started to work on the sleeves. I don't have DPNs in size 10, so I used Magic Loop with my interchangeables instead. While, it's very cool, Magic Loop isn't really a technique that I like to use. But it served a great purpose nonetheless.

Progress as of Feb 9th.

EWV0202-2009 (27a)

Started: February 2, 2009
Finished: February 22, 2009

As luck would have it (and dispite checking my gauge), EWV 0202-2009 Carnation Tee does not fit me. It's one size too big, and I don't know why. I checked my gauge in seed stitch just as the pattern called for. And on size 10s, my swatch was 4". In the end, my mother was very happy to receive a new sweater; and she wears it well.

8 Have something to say?:

Sorry it didn't fit you but your mom sure lucked out! I love those colors together.

Thanks Del! :) She totally continues to luck out! She gotten two other things this way: another sweater and a vest!

And get this, my favorite sweater that I made for myself (and actually fits well) is MISSING!!! Somehow, it was 'misappropriated' when I moved! I miss that sweater!

Here it is:

Thank you for your lovely comments on my blog. Your knitting is something to marvel at as well. Love your color choices and as it turns out, this wasn't a loss at all. Mom does it justice!

oh wow I totally missed this photo.
It looks so cool!! I really like those colours together, but I wouldn't have thought of putting them together myself because I'm a dummy when it comes to colour co-ordination. Fantastic job. :)
Now go make me one. tee-hee.

Worthy Knitting

"Personally I think [what] ever is in my fingers at the moment is "worth" knitting, or it wouldnt be on my needles."
