Year End Celebration ... Or Not

Well, I'm off to finish the year in some way, shape or fashion. And without further adieux, I am saying good riddance to a lowsy 2008. Here's to hoping 2009 will be better...

Is No News Good News?

I finished the front of EWV 0919-2008 (gift sweater), but I haven't been motivated to finish the front, or even cast on the sleeves. I guess that's ok though; I have until the end of January to get it done. And I have vacation time coming up, so that should be enough time to finish it.

In the meantime, Vera still goes for her weekend walks; however, this particular walk was cut short when she spied the neighborhood Mastiff going for his walk. Watch as she hunkers down and goes into "You Don't See Me" mode:
