When Knitting Becomes Obsession
As I was considering why I'm not really feeling particularly like knitting, I came up with what appeared to a good reason: I'm just having a bad year in my non-kniting life. But then I starting thinking, "Isn't that when I should be turning toward knitting, for some much need stress relief, escape?" Does this mean I'm a bad knitter?
Well, at least I haven't lost motivation to Google "knitting" every once in a while. And look what I found: (I have GOT to learn Blender so that I can come up with cool things like this!!!)
Enjoy!

3 Have something to say?:
The knitting obsession does come and go, doesn't it? I find that the need to knit more or less in response to non-knitting stress depends on the kind of stress it is. But the knitting will always be there when you want to come back, and it won't even ask where you've been. =)
The video was great. Who comes up with these things?
No, you're not a bad knitter! I asked myself the same question. I would think I was too busy or too aggravated to knit, but picked up the needles anyway & it was just what I needed.
OMG I forgot about that video! <3
Don't feel bad, 2008 had sucked to monumental proportions for me as well...and other knitters too on many fronts. 2008 cannot end fast enough! And I don't really care if the door hits it in the ass on its way out either ;) 2009 will be better! I'm sure of it. Hang in there!
